Do girls mature faster than boys?

If you take :maturity" to mean the training that makes you place absolute importance in putting on an appearance, then yes, sure. Little girls tea parties. "Does Mr. bunny want another butter cake?" The appearance of grace and poise, and whatever society says is decorum.
Appearances and reputation.  So while little boys are being trained by their society and peers to act like total idiots bent on playing soldiers.. little girls are being taught to become Miss Manners. Is this good or bad?

"Women are the peacekeepers, men the warmongers" True? Trained to be true. Which boy when expressing desire to play house did not face cruelty at the hands of other boys, parents, and even the girls?

Anecdote(oh this will get me deleted for sure): Mid 1980s. Buying an LP. Michael Hedges. Placed in JAZZ bin. Asked prim, proper salesgirl why he is placed under JAZZ. In a manner bespeaking a college professor, she informed me that it IS Jazz. Cool, "confident", authoritarian, and totally WRONG.

Qns: Not why was she so certain about something she had no idea whatsoever, but how did a lifetime of training to ACT and LOOK LIKE she was MOMMY, TUTOR, HEAD LIBRARIAN or MOTHER SUPERIOR make the females of the species actually superior? (wow, but this is not hostility talking. This is a question pointing to an argument that might make a difference)

Why do men keep thinking of their penises as 'guns' and 'tools'? Why are vaginas analogous to flowers? And why is ALL THIS connected to everything else from war to poverty to injustice to madness on this earth?

Our gender roles imprison us. Men more than women. Women have been given the option to co-opt men's roles if they so choose, but men do not have the same freedom of choice? Dont believe me? A straight woman may dress in overalls, jeans, shirts and pants, wear her hair short and still expect to be treated 'like a lady' - (and turn around and flirt with a girl, she has that choice), but a man who dares to dress in a skirt, women's shoes, etc is thought either gay or not a real man. Prove your manhood! Women arent asked to prove their womanhood.

There is a great pressure on women however, not to prove that they are 'real women' (ha, see how ridiculous that sounds when applied to women?) but to keep up appearances. Appearances of decency. Decorum. Proper behaviour. Even asexuality. Why? IS this true?

Men are pressured to perform and succeed and that means to beat/harm/win/destroy. TO do less is to be stigmatized a LOSER.

What is the female equivalent of a LOSER? Is ther one? Yes there is.

It is to be called a SLUT. Think about it: To not have sex or be sexually active = GOODNESS. To be sexually active = EVIL SLUT. = LOSER. Men who dont PERFORM and SHOOT their GUN when ORDERED to do SO = LOSER. Outcasts. Why why why???

To secure and protect a SYSTEM of CONTROL ofcourse. The ongoing CONTROL of the human race no less. Men wont battle and be controllable if they are freely loving and sexing and women are freely loving and sexing. No way. Rules to control both sexes are securely in place and practically untouched by politics, spirituality, feminism...everything pits one sex against the other. Women are still shamed/shunned for not keeping it for their marrige partners. Men are stil shamed/shunned for not making enough money or being placed on top of the totem pole or hacving a big enough 'gun'. Can you see it now?

....and you tell me there is not connection between our sexual roles and rules, and wars/poverty/insanity? Hm.....
